Plant ID forum: type of Iris?

Can anyone please help ID this plant? I believe it's an iris. Planted 35+ years or more ago by my husbands grandmother. Grows almost wild in a grassy area and extremely hardy.

Looks very similar to the one I had id'd on the Iris forum recently: Species Iris(Iris halophila).
