Polygonum persicaria. My vote would be weed; it's pretty but in my yard it is considered a weed. Others may not agree.

I have some smart weeds at my house.
Some I pull, but most... I leave be.
They are pretty, and those berries must have some wildlife value.

Of far greater concern is the fatoua villosa, which I also see in your picture.
Those born pregnant plants could teach aggressive native plants a thing or two...

yes.Stone...I know them as Mulberry weed, thank you for the scientific name. I spend way too much time pulling this weed. I don't hate much of anything but these come close to deserving that sentiment.
