Gene,
Awesome Bowie story! I could have sworn I had his autobiography, but cannot find it. I remember he told how badly he wanted a white sax and his Dad got it for him.

Rj,
Now THAT looks like winter Smiling .

Jim,
We're showing 56 on the indoor/outdoor thermometer. And we're supposed to get ice too. We'll probably lose power if it amounts to anything. Your pic looks a lot like winter too Thumbs up .

I don't care what anyone says, powdered milk is not milk. My folks tried to foist that #*^v! on us. Epic "fail"!

I've never worn a dress and have no intention of doing so. Of course I don't have nicely tanned legs like I used to *Blush* .

Bowie was not one of my favorites but he was quite talented. I still listen to Pink Floyd, so, whatever.

Foggy and misty here at 43F. Have to admit that the damp air feels good after that cold, dry air last week.
Oh, my - "Jean" in a dress - TMI! There's always kilts. Smiling

I'm thinking that I'm gonna try and convince my parents to get a generator just in case for this weekend. Everyone is selling out of them pretty quickly though. Always can return it if we don't use it but this way we could plug in a small heater and keep the pipes from freezing. I'd much rather deal with snow.

Pepper Best I can do for now :Kerosun , to keep freezing , I if had all I have papered out for repairs ,, I would have one the super home Back up Generators ,
I suppose it will be interesting to see how the new flat stop lights or Traffic lights take something like that ,,
Old one would fall through a car hood , or tear off a tire ( Pepper , Your Favorite D'Oh! ) Things do happen ,,

Sometimes pepper , When I wit that a minute Maybe you should beware of the new thinner Traffic lights also ,, The might slice your truck in half ,,

On the Hopeful side , Maybe Mother will keep her icy nature , to herself

Speaking of guys wearing dresses. Lol. Years ago, just before the wife and I got together, her uncle went through a cross dressing "phase" apparantly. Well just before Christmas he revealed to some in his family that he wrote a book. His parents, being super Christian, were shall we say, less than impressed. Oh never a dull moment in my life!

We've dropped 30 degrees this afternoon. Was 65 now it's 36. No rain of any sort here yet. It can wait til this weekend. Hilarious! As it is I will end up missing work on Sat most likely but I won't have to worry about other days.

Having chicken burritos tonight. We're all drooling while waiting on them to cook.

I listen to modern blues almost exclusively..., and, kind of a sidebar to a musical reference above, I once dated one of David Bowie's chauffeur's girlfriends. Small world.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
