@ all

Wow, there are a lot of very beautiful Seedling to see. It gives me a lot of impressions.
I will register an older Seedling. I took some fotos and I'm not sure which the best for registration is.
Maybe you have a piece of advice which is the most representative of the AHS.
On a name I have not yet fixed. Only the thought that the word tongue should occur in it.
Maybe you have good suggestions for me.

Lee Reinke X Scandinavia, emo, ufo - cascade?
Plant height is 30 inches and the flower size is 11 inches. The flower is white with a pink coating comma especially at the end of the petals and the edge.

It is a remarkable flower. I will acquire it once it makes it way to the US.

Thanks for showing us this great hem!

@Heart2Heart Hans,

Perhaps you could just call it 'Logo' as in the Rolling Stones logo Rolling on the floor laughing . I like the bloom.

I like it as well... I think any of the pictures would do, but I like the first and second ones the most. Does it also meet the description for "spatulate"?

Names? Dog Tongue Pink... Um. Pink Dog Tongue. Spider-Tongue Kisses.

Let us know when you have your registration done!

Gorgeous seedling, Hans, and the size is a real plus in my
opinion. Such beautiful delicate coloring too. It will certainly
be on my "to buy" list.

As to the photos, pic #3 shows less of the yellow and brown foliage.
Also, the last time I read the AHS photo rules, the AHS asks that the flower have a small amount of space from the flower edges to the frame, and not be touching at the sides, top, or bottom which you have achieved for most of the edges.

Hope this helps, and does not offend.

A seedling from a seed I got from Hemlady (Cynthia). I couldn't believe the edge on this bloom. It looked like shinny gold. Like someone gold-leafed the edge. I was equally surprised that it showed up in the photo so well.

A couple of three year old seedlings I think are special. Good branching and height. The yellow pink edge one is a little beat up in the photo due to yet another storm with winds.

That's a really nice daylily.

I get a metallic edge on Wisest of wizards here in Britain, it always looks as if someone has gone along the edge of the petal in metalllic pen--the colour of the edge varies from gold to a more copper/ bronze shade as it goes along the petal edge.

Very hard to photograph though, I keep hoping to be able to capture it properly.

Love all the other seedlings on here too. My next goal is to learn how to pollenate daylilies myself and try crossing some of my own.

That's terrific! Does the petal surface have heavy diamond dusting?
Susan Panel has been producing gold glitter edges! Her 'My Precious Gold' would be a great cross for this. How exciting to have this in your seedling patch! Do any of the sibs share this quality?

Virginia,
Some of the sibs "only" come close but not as much. I think it was a perfect day when the picture was taken (sun-rain the day before-dew point). I think everything came together. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that glowing-shiny edge.
It did have diamond dusting on the petals also. Not sure if I'd call it "heavy" but very visible.

Scatterbrain,
Be VERY careful when crossing daylilies!!! It's addictive. Smiling

Another set of gorgeous seedlings, everyone!

Sue, that edge is amazing! I can definitely see the glittering metallic edge on your seedling!

So beautiful! The color is so clear and not splotchy.

Hans, that is a very unusual but beautiful seedling of Lee Reimki and Scandianavia. I have never seen petals form like that.

Ken, love your RFK seedling. Hope some of my will bloom like that.

The sister seedling to it has the splotchy thing going on a bit. It is nice that this one is so clear and the edge distinct sets it off. Thank you for your comments @kousa I appreciate them very much.

Sue, that golden edge is fantastic! Just beautiful.
Ken, I'm loving your RFK seedling.
Tracy, so beautiful, both of them. So nice.
Kid, all lovely, but my favorite is #2.

I have noticed several bitones in the garden this season.
Also have a reverse bitone that I've kept for a few years because
it blooms so much on nice scapes and the reverse bitone factor
is another reason.

Love this one. Those designs on the midrib (if that's what it's called) remind me of "ink blots". You could name it Psychiatric Affair. But then...can you imagine how many times it would be misspelled?

It will be interesting to see if those "ink blots" continue. So pretty!

The little markings look like flags to me--I would want to call it "Scout's Honour". Love it!
