I'm not certain but it looks like what I've known as Centipede Grass.

Thanks for the input. I've been told it is Bermudagrass, but I have a hard time figuring out grass type. I've tried online guides and charts, but don't know.

Aha .... Bermuda Grass, I'd forgotten about that one. We've always had St. Augustine grass but at our old house Bermuda Grass was taking over one side of the yard where our neighbor had an entire lawn of it.

Bermuda grass is a great pasture grass, but a real nuisance in the garden.

well I'm the neighbor w an entire lawn of it, and there is no way I'll ever be rid of it. There is no way to get rid of it ever. I assume the seeds stay viable in the soil for ages. Planting something else is futile because the Borg will assimilate it lol
