I am SO hoping not too many of our neighbors will be setting off fireworks for our 4th of July -- as beautiful as they can be, they totally freak our dogs out! ![]() Cubits.org - A Universe of Communities[/I] / Share your recipes: Favorite Recipes A-Z cubit C/F temp conversion / NGA Member Map |

LOL, I am surprised so many dogs are absolute chicken-poop when it comes to loud noises. Especially breeds that are so called hunting dogs. I had a little poodle that did not like fireworks. If I brought out a firecracker she would growl and bark at it but she did not hide. She just stayed indoors. I hope you up in Canadia had a blessed Dominion Day, I know its Canada Day but that would be like calling the 4th U.S.of A. day. It just doe not sound as good. We had a good fourth and now the yard it littered with fireworks debris. Many years ago, sixties, my dad smuggled firecrackers from Canada into the U.S. Just because he wanted to. They tore the car apart, looking for ChiCom fireworks but missed the one hole they were in. Sadly now the ChiCom fireworks are legal here and they simply are not as good as the ones that used to be hand rolled in Macau and other tiny spots on the globe. As they were hand made, consistency was not part of the program and some were rather, abnormally good. |
