Bought on impulse this pretty little Japanese Maple in a bowl; couldn't resist 50% off! Can you confirm the variety? Checked the data base but couldn't be sure.

Possibly Butterfly although I don't see any white on the margins like it has.

There are a few leaves that have some white on the edges; funny when I looked at it in the greenhouse I thought it had more white then it does now. Several of the pictures in the database for Butterfly do look like a match. Thank You! Amanda.
Now I just need to figure out how I can store it for the winter! Definately not hardy here but I understand storing it inside is not feasible as conditions are too warm. I do have an well insulated but unheated shed where I stored quite a few potted perennials over last winter and pretty much all of them survived but not sure whether that will be sufficient for the jm. Maybe I could give it some extra insulation itself somehow. Any suggestions?
