Noticed this growing in an area that only gets watered when it rains and it hasn't rained here in a long while so I was very surprised to find this colorful little plant looking very happy. It smells minty when crushed. Agastache maybe? No idea really. I can take more photos if it'll help. Just tell me what you'd like to see. I tip my hat to you.

square stem and scent? - if yes,

It is mint. very invasive, make sure you really love it, or put it in a large container. comes up every year, bees like it. drought tolerant. (aka, nothing will kill it)

The leaves look a bit woolly. Could it be a Stachys? (In the mint family, but not as invasive as culinary mint.)

This is a very small plant and yes it has square stems and minty smell with fuzzy leaves. Need better photos with something in it for size comparison. I'm still searching. I tip my hat to you.

It looks like it might be Pennyroyal.
