Guess I'll plan to spend some acorns this time. Not likely to win, so I may end up making a purchase to try this tool. I have some weeds that are really difficult to get under enough to eliminate them.

@needrain - I have the 'regular' CobraHead and I love it. I carry it around with me whenever I'm pretending to working in the yard. Don't know if the mini would be too mini. I'd love to try the long handled one but don't have the do re mi right now.

The guy who helps me with my yard saw me using the CobraHead and immediately wanted to know where he could buy one. I bought mine a number of years ago at a Whole Foods of all places. Have no idea if they still sell them. But now I know where to get them online.

So use some acorns. Maybe someone will toss you some if you're in short supply. In theory it only takes one ticket to win.

Thanks for the acorn! I have plenty. A lot more than I'll spend, for sure. Historically, I'm not a lucky gambler on this sort of thing so my expectations about winning are pretty much nil. It's fun to try. Knowing where to purchase one directly from the manufacturer online is really valuable.

It's nice to hear a positive first hand account of its use.

I have both the regular and the long handled CobraHead and could not do without them. If I won the raffle (again Hurray! ) the mini would certainly be my first choice.

The angle of the regular tool is perfect for my aging arthritic hands and just makes quick work of weeds or even digging small planting holes. I suspect the mini will be better still. With the long handled one I can reach into those snaky spots under shrubs and in ground covers, places I might not want to go to with my bare hands.

Thanks CobraHead for donating one for the raffle.

Yes, thank you CobraHead for donating one for the raffle. I think it's safe to say that a lot of members, myself included, are going to be vying to win the 'mini'.
