Charlie was correct in that if you want a hose that is safe to be able to drink from, a marine/RV hose is the best bet. You need to make sure it is NSF-61 certified, and phthalate free. My company Flex-Tech makes a clear multi-purpose hose that can act as a garden hose as well. It is durable thermoplastic PVC, FDA and NSF-61 approved and phthalate free. However, our standard thermoplastic PVC (RTW) hoses are also lead free. Our website is flextechhose.com You can also check out our distributors. One of them is austinhose.com We do not sell direct, but if you shoot us an e-mail we can point you in the right direction.
