I'm a FL resident (barrier island near Daytona Beach) who loves plants. This is my first post on this forum. About 4 years ago I purchased a very small Dwarf Plumeria with no name. It grew just fine and I've given starts to friends. Then last September I purchased a small Pudica from a fellow master gardener. In early October my home was swiped by Hurricane Matthew--the storm stayed 30 out to sea but this beach area had 95 mph swirling winds. The little Pudica was in the garage but the Dwarf Plumeria (obviously it is Dwarf Pink Singapore) faced the storm head-on. It's in the front yard with no protection. After the storm I trimmed and fertilized nearly every plant in my garden. So, the Dwarf Pink decided to celebrate living! It tripled in size and is in full bloom right now. The Pudica and the Pink flank a very flashy hibiscus that seems to be awestruck by the lovely plants that surround it!!

Here is one side of the front yard that I finally finished.

Here is my lovely Pudica who is growing like a happy plant! I'm so impressed with it's blooms!

and here is the Dwarf Pink Singapore--big and bold

I didn't know what I was getting into when I planted my first plumeria. It's all good!!
