Re: Does "Tequila Supreme" (Meikokan) grow on its own roots?

Thanks for replying. I bought one last year (Star Roses), and it was beautiful. Seemed to be dead this spring, so I pulled it up. Didn't get to disposing of it and now it's growing new shoots from the roots! Just wondering if it's still "Tequila Sunrise" or something else...

I don't know how well this rose would grow on its own roots, but @MargieNY is growing an own-root Tequila Supreme and probably could answer this question.

Yes, I have a 1 gal. own root Tequila Supreme that I purchased from Heirloom Roses. I planted it a few weeks ago and it is doing very well. Lots of buds getting ready to open and no signs of black spot. It's about 22 inches tall now.
