Man! This is not supposed to be this challenging. Dodging rain showers and working in hot and humid conditions. We will get there though.

LOL, Dave -- if you think it's hot and humid while you're putting the thing together, wait until you try working inside the GH Green Grin!

Just take it slow, and stay hydrated. You're going to have a lot of fun with it. I love mine, even when it's hot and humid. Mine has turned into a jungle because the plants love it so much. My biggest chore is trimming back the plants because they grow so quickly.

I'll say you're are progressing ! Looking great. Love that it's nestled in the woods. Mine also sits on a deck. I ended up covering it with rubber mat flooring pieces because the cold came up from the bottom in the winter. But it does make it hotter in the summer. Keep up the good work. Btw, I built mine in July-August, too. By fall it as ready to protect plants for winter.

Now we need a pic of the plants inside it. Will you just use potted plants or do beds?

I have beds but have been wishing I'd just done shelving and pots. That way they're much easier to treat and spray off If they get bugs or problems. I could take them outside instead of spraying my horrible hard water all around inside. I have to try to keep the bad water off the polycarbonate glazing. I haven't had to clean the inside yet, and I'm finishing up my second year of use.

@plantmanager Karen I am using shelving and pots. My only use for the greenhouse will be to winter over my tropicals. I might start a few cuttings but generally this is just a winter warm spot. I have too many to bring in the house and with the heating system the house just gets too dry for them and the low humidity takes a toll on them. I am learning my way around the ins and outs of greenhouses so this winter will be a learning experience.

You will do fine. It's wonderful to have a greenhouse. Now I want more of them since mine is so small. My cuttings all root in just a few days. My Adenium was having a hard time outside due to winds, so I brought it in again, and it's putting out new leaves and starting to get bloom buds again.

I have had a lot of aphid, whitefly and spider mite problems, so I really recommend lots of air circulation via fans. My solar fan doesn't run long enough to keep things insect free.
