I got mine from Kevin. I'm sure Lynn has it too. It seems to be a shy offsetter, but grows some nice cup-shaped rosettes. Mine was planted last Fall and has no offsets this year.
'Pink Pearl' is another you might want, Kate. I liked it better than 'Extra' when I saw both of them in Lynn's garden.
Here's mine in the hot afternoon sun. It's almost as big as a baseball, and every bit as round.

Wow Tim wish I'd paid more attention and looked closer at it when I visited! That is lovely!

Of course. Although it is a shy offsetter but apparently an even shyer bloomer, I hope. Although Cynda had a single rosette in a pot that was blooming. IIRC, she was giving it to @JungleShadows so he could use it for breeding. So PO might be offering it in the future. I suspect next year mine will either throw a giant bloom and croak... or push out an enormous number of chicks.

Upon further review... there is an offset coming. I'm stoked!
I wouldn't be surprised to see more follow.

I think most of the calcareum are start offsets later in the season than most of the other semps.
Hurray! Exciting Tim. Now I will have to get down close to see if mine has some hiding. Smiling
