I would like to know if purple daisies reseed themselves & at what stage? I do not want to dead head the plant if it still needs to reseed. I am a complete novice at all this.

We need more information.
Are you asking about African daisies? Osteospermum?

Or something else, like a chrysanthemum cultivar... Or maybe an aster?

Lotta daisies out there.

I personally believe those cut stems are unsightly, and I wish everyone would stop that practice.

Having seeds produced is always good.
Most flower seeds are food for the songbirds.

And there's that whole natural progression thing.
