Couple months ago we planted 3 of these pink hydrangea in front of our house and everything was good for a month or so but then I noticed that all the pink flowers were slowly losing color and then eventually staying this pale yellow color. When new flowers sprout up they are pink but fairly quickly lose their color too. The plants are growing and doing well otherwise, I just would rather the flowers actually have color. So why might this be happening and how can I stop it ?

Thanks

Welcome!

The yellowish flowers are aging. The new flowers bloom pink then fade as they get old.
