Every year my tropical milkweed is loaded with aphids. I do occasionally get some ladybugs and a few other insects that seem to feed on them. This year the aphid population seems to have been decimated, I did find a few lady bugs on the plants, but I think the main reason for the decline in the aphids is this insect. I have not seen them yet eating an aphid but I assume that is why they are all over the plant. I hope they are not huge aphids!!!
Thanks for any help!

They look like milkweed bugs.
