Definitely a Commelina. Some of the various species are very similar looking.

All Tradescantias have 3 same-size petals.

Karen, looking at this again... I'm not sure if you mean to answer my question about where the pic was before, or were suggesting ID...?

C. communis has brown spots on the anthers, and a single clear 3rd petal at the bottom:

The bloom above does not have the brown spots, and the 3rd petal is bifurcated, which fits C. erecta:
