Hi Andrea and welcome to NGA!

Not quite sure what your question is. That said, the way to upload pictures to this site is very easy. If you look at the bottom of the box where you are writing your text you see a button that says "Upload an image". Just click on that, and another box will pop up. Find the picture in your computer and click on it. It's that easy.

When you upload a picture it will look like a bunch of text. Just click on preview and you'll see your picture!

I hope this is what you are asking for.

Not sure what you mean either and you have added pictures to the database and in posts too. Confused

Anne, if you click her profile, you can see when she joined and also her posts and database contributions.

Do you perhaps mean you need the list of the plants you have in your inventory to add your photos?
Click on your profile. either the blue 'person' upper right or on your name in your post above, scroll down and you will see your plant list.

Thanks. Yes I have posted pics but I am trying to send them directly from my phone not the computer. Right now if it is not in the computer I cannot add pics.

If you have a smart phone, you log in to the website here on your phone, find the database entry and upload the same way as from your computer.
If you don't have a smart phone, then you need to move the images off your phone onto the computer.

From my iPhone, I select the pic I want to send and send it to my email address. When I open up the email (MacBook )I press down on the pic with 2 fingers and hit download save.
To upload the pic on to the NGA site, I select upload an image, the downloads appear and I select choose.
The download will appear as several letters, than I select preview to see if that is what I wanted, than select finish.

You can also upload from the iPhone, I have NGA continuously logged on via firefox,
again select upload an image, your photo lib prompt will appear, select the photo lib prompt, select photo you wish to upload and than select done.
