I bought some daylilies from a local gardener last year and so far I have been batting .500 on the actual lily matching its label. This one was labeled "Malachite Prism" but obviously isn't and she doesn't know what it is. Confused

Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks for any help!

I was looking at its parent plant, Samar Star Fire and I'm having a hard time telling them apart. What differentiates one from the other?

This is an additional photo of my daylily.

I looked at that one also, and have grown it. I don't think this looks like it to me.

the bottom line is if you really want an accurate name for sure, you need to order one or both and grow them close to it and see.

I don't have a trained eye so I depend heavily on other's photos for identification. I appreciate your input. Thank You!
