I grew this little guy from seed. I'm going to try to collect seeds from it this year but I know that's a total crapshoot sometimes.
For next year, I'd like to find named cultivars which are similar in appearance and color. I especially like the salmon-pink-orange-yellow fade and the small size (the plant is about 14" tall and started blooming when it was about 10" tall).
Any ideas for cultivars into which I should look?

There are lots of dahlias in that color range, but I dont know of any that small, other than bedding dahlias. https://www.swallowtailgardens...
You do know that you can dig it, and divide and save the tubers? That should give you an exact match.

I might not be able to because I may be moving in a few weeks (early September-ish). Womp, womp.

How about Fire Magic
No guess not. Not orange enough with a slight lavender tint
