Plant ID forum: gorgeous purple plant - what is it?

hallo,
yet another ID please - it grows on shores of lake balaton, Hungary but no-one in my circle of friends knows what it is. Any ideas? Have only seen it in flower, no idea what its seed-head is like.

Looks like a Salvia/Sage leaf wise, beautiful flowers!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

The leaves look like a sage/salvia, but not the flowers, but they are beautiful. Smiling

I agree, it does look like the lovely Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea)
