This will be my 3rd time posting seed images from research that I am conducting at Zoo Miami. The first time I had an overwhelming amount of help, but sadly on my last post, I only received one response which wasn't really helpful. I was hoping I could receive help from you guys in order to ID this grass species. I'm thinking about Paspalum malacophyllum or Paspalum monostachyum. It is sad that you have not been 100% satisfied with answers given by the helpful members of NGA. All of us are unpaid volunteers who do the best we can with the information provided with each question.

When you post images that have little or no other information, it is quite difficult for anyone to offer a decent answer. Also, asking questions here is an interactive process; you need to make yourself available to answer follow-up questions and to provide more information if we request it.

I would respectfully suggest you contact your local county cooperative extension service, ask them to visit Zoo Miami, and see if the local experts can be of more help.
