Hi, I'm new here and I was wondering if it would be possible to raise the humidity around my plants by draping clear plastic wrap around a stick in my pot, and poking air holes in it. (look at crude image below). I would do this for my pepper plants and my sprouting lemon tree (these are indoors atm). Do you think this would work? I am just so worried that if i have to go somewhere for the majority of the day my plants will dry out :(

I use such a humidity device for germination, but have learned through experience that leaving the plants inside the dome in the sunlight will kill them.
And...
When baker creek sent live plants packaged in plastic bags, they were dead before I got them.

So... No more buying plants from them...

You can easily see what happens to grass clippings left in a plastic garbage bag... Some people make compost (on purpose) this way.

So pretty much it works for seeds and such but if you have direct sunlight it will cook em?

Doesn't even have to be direct sun... As was the case with the live plants in the mail.
