Looked for "great" summer color and didn't find any as they were all still alive but not that jaw-dropping impressive.
But here's Grapetone just because it's alive at my place, it's been trying hard to get my attention and I've hardly ever seen it for sale (but got it at MCG):
It has wonderful coloring Bev. Unusual green color contrasting with the red. And we will never know the parentage of it, I see it was one of Ed's semps. Very nice.
I don't think any of these has a bad season for color. Photos taken July 20, 2017
This is not todays photo of positively glowing but it still looks just like this. It has been in some shade for the last few weeks.
Below is Nico in summer. winter is green and looks like a different Semp entirely. This is why I think we should start putting dates on the photos we put on the data base
Jo Ann, most of the photos in the database do have dates. If you put your cursor over the photo a little info box pops up and shows the date the photo was taken.
Nice photos of 'Positively Glowing' and 'Nico'.
Your pics had some with nice watermarks too. Nice bright colors! Good thing you got these before this weekend of temps in 90's...Can you tell I'm a heat wimp?

Here are some of mine I love right now. Been away from my plants since last Wednesday. They are very dry but I trust no one to water these for me.

What is great summer color to one is not to another. I love the rich purples, vibrant reds and oranges but also like the restful pastels of the blues and pinks.
