I planted a bunch of these bulbs and now I finally have a flower bloom so that I can try to find out the name of this flower. Please help.
Thanks!

Thanks Janine. Is this the time that it should be blooming? I have a lot of the bulbs planted but this is the only one with a bloom.

I agree, Hymenocallis and a beautiful one at that! You should add a photo or two to the database: Spider Lilies (Hymenocallis)

Could be an Ismene or Hymenocallis. Are they hardy for you in 5a or 6a?

It does look more like Ismene! We have a few listed in the database: https://garden.org/plants/sear... Here are a couple of photos of one that looks a lot like yours:

Ismene & Hymenocallis are synonymous.

Thank You! so much Lin, Greene, Evan and Janine. I did buy both Peruvian Daffodils and Spider Lilies but never really got to see them bloom. I think I dug up the bulbs and stored them and planted last year but got now blooms last year either. So I am so happy to have blooms this year. I hope all the others that I planted will also bloom so I can see if they are the same or different from this one.

You all are so helpful.

Ismene & Hymenocallis are closely related but no longer synonymous. This Pacific Bulb Society page says Ismene flowers are declinate to pendulous and usually striped green which would eliminate Ismene as a possibility.
