|I planted this cultivar in June 2015. Saw the first blooms in June 2016. It had two scapes in 2016 with 20 buds total (so ~10/scape). The clump has doubled and I had 4 scapes this year with 42 blooms total...so still ~10/scape. Blooms always open nice. I do notice that earlier in it's bloom season the eye is closer to the center (see pic 1 above) and the purple eye moves out toward the end of the petals (see pic 2) later in the season. I was able to get some clump shots of my small clump this year, but I haven't had time to go through pictures yet. I will post it to the plant page when I do.
It is both pod and pollen fertile. I haven't used the pollen much this year, but I did some last year. Pod fertility...it is not my best pod setter, but it looks like I have a couple of good pods per scape.

|I loved the bloom on this plant, absolutely a beauty. Planted in 2015, bloomed, struggled through 2016, and do not think it's still with me. Probably better in a cooler climate, as gulf coast Texas is extreme in heat and humidity, very little cool temps, and rust is rampant.|
