Can some one help me figure this out, I have post the pic before but.I looked for a hour for the old post with no luck, so I had to make a new one. Sorry I really tried and I really need to know so hopefully I can figure out how to make it bloom.
I have taken care of it for 3 years now. The last 2 years I tried repotting and moving to differnt light ect. He just keeps doing the same thing. Growing only foliage very slowly.

Not an Amaryllis.
What you have is a Clivia miniata.

I agree It will have to get fairly root bound before it will bloom. Yours is a young plant.

Thanks again everyone for the help!
Anyone care to explain. Im going to look it up right now.
But I'd prefer experienced information, to me its always more informational than just text book info.
Anyone have this plant?

Its lived indoors for 3 years now that I personally have been taking care of it. Before that the owner of the plant is my father in law. He told me it came from a friend a few years before this. I assumed he just meant 1 or 2 because he told me his friend had past and wirh out a whole long story he has kept the plant watered. Thats it. I know it was in thier office.
Now the plant has been treated like all the others pretty much. I bring it out spring summer fall until frost is possible. It's only grown more foliage for me so far.
I was just reading it needs a cool down period so im gonna try and accomplish that this fall/winter.
See what color this cutie is... lol i hope.
Thanks everyone 💕
