I would like to know how to grow Exacum 'Kandy" as a houseplant. Is it difficult to grow? Wondering if it's one of those plants you discard after it's finished blooming? I've not found much information on the internet, so any info would be appreciated.

Welcome!

Good news: Yes, you can keep it as a houseplant.

Bad news: Exacum has a very short life expectancy so enjoy it well you can.

Thanks for your response. Exactly how short is the life expectancy of Exacum? A couple of months or a year or so?

They are considered annuals or short lived perennials but most people don't keep them alive much past when they stop blooming. Luckily, they bloom for months.
