I am just not a pink person. I try to disassociate myself with things that are stereotypically girly, like the color pink. (I much prefer bold colors, anyway.) ....but I have to give this crazy little pink daylily some credit. It IS very pretty, so I'll let myself get girly for a second...

...I like how the loose eye looks like three hearts on the petals. The dark pink veins really add some unique character to the overall look of the bloom. And that green throat!...

Does that throat look like a three-leaf clover to anyone else?

I've never seen anything like that before! Very nice! I love that eye! It's very unique. Not seeing the 3 leaf clover though.

Beautiful, DND. I love and think this pattern is very special. I definitely see the eye showing a 3 heart shape pattern. I love pink color in daylilies. My Susan Weber is blooming right now and it is so pretty. Smiling

Hhmm... "Ag expo" and "Brown's"... No clue... I do like the dark veining. And I also see the 3 leaf clover or 3 hearts.

Group hug DND, I completely understand the pink thing... And I too have a pink daylily that I like... But only one!

Maybe something to do with an Ag expo and Brown's Ferry Daylily gardens?

Larry.... That might be a lead I could work with. I had never heard of them before, but it looks like they have an internet presence. Maybe I will peruse their site and see if anything stands out. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the closest I saw on their site was Sarahbelle, and it definitely isn't that one. That doesn't mean it didn't come from them, though. Hmm...if this cultivar were one I was intending on keeping, I might get more serious about ID'ing it, but right now I am planning on giving it away, so I won't likely spend more time researching it right now. If things change and I keep it, though...

You're giving it away? Seriously? 😱

I think it is really beautiful--if I was lucky enough to have it in my garden it wouldn't be going anywhere. nodding Lovey dubby

And yes, I see the clover! 😊
