I have no idea what plant this is, all I know is it's dying and I'm trying to figure out what it is so I can properly take care of it. Anyone know what plant this is, or want to help me identify it so I can look it up and do more research and save it.

Peperomia obtusifolia...dom't know which cultivar, though.
They've very finicky about watering and drainage.

Yes, the plant does not want to be watered too often. The soil needs to dry before you water again. Maybe water once every 10 days? Also, they are not crazy about too much sunlight and don't like a lot of wind so keeping the plant either indoors or on a protected porch may be best.

You may want to consider getting a different pot and re-potting with fresh soil. Sometimes salts will accumulate in the soil so starting fresh may be a good idea. The pot needs to have drainage holes.

Cut away the dead/discolored leaves and discard.

Good luck. Crossing Fingers! Thumbs up

I forgot to add this.
In our database, there is a page for Peperomia Obtusifolia aka Baby Rubber Plant.
Here is a photo of what your plant will look like in just a short while.

@loishiduf, Welcome but your post is rather confusing. You've commented on a page that was giving tips for the identification and care of a plant. This is a gardening website but I wonder if perhaps you meant to post your comment to a different forum where someone was discussing baby walkers? Confused

It looks as if both stems have black rot at the base. There is no cure for this. To save some of it I would suggest taking cuttings well above to black areas and rooting them in water. Pot them up when they have 1" roots.
