Hello I have these small black balls on my kale. I was just wondering what it is. It looks like they could be kale seeds or bug eggs. If anyone has had these on a past kale plant please let me know!

Thank You!

Welcome!

It looks like caterpillar poop, probably whatever is eating holes in the leaves. Have you seen any? If not look on the backs of the leaves, they may be green and blend in.

Yep, caterpillar poop. Sometimes the caterpillars are hard to see; take a minute to focus on the backs of the leaves, but if you can't find any caterpillars then the birds probably already grabbed them for a quick snack.
