I have a Hydrangea bush that is a deep blue. I want to fertilizer it and the area around it but I don't want to change the color. Theres a young dogwood tree in the same flower bed. I have some Holly Tone that says it's mostly for acid lover plants. Can anyone give me advice on what to use to keep my beautiful bush beautiful?

Hydrangeas flower blue when the soil is sufficiently acidic (which releases aluminum). If it is naturally staying blue then as long as you don't use lime or some other soil pH raising material it's not likely to change colour. Do you know what your soil pH is?

Sighing! (Sorry Philip...you know I love you, but...) Epsom salt is lovely stuff, but it will not change the color of the Hydrangea. Sighing!
