I have planted these seeds and the plants grow well. The leaves are a little white but I have been spraying with a homemade anti-powdery mildew solution. I just harvested my first yellow zucchini. Most of it is dark green like a green zucchini, and part of it is bright yellow like a yellow zucchini. There is not an obvious pattern to the color change. I also picked a smaller one with similar coloring, and a third that appears to have started out healthy but is now dying.

Is my plant diseased?

The white one didn't get pollinated.
The others, gott pollinated by a green zucchini. Near-by.

Boy, I'm going to be embarrassed if I am wrong but I believe that cross-pollination will only effect seed collected for next year and not this years fruit. Hybrid seed comes true to form no matter what the bees do this year. The only exception I am aware of is with corn.
