I call this a trumpet vine, but it's not a vine.

I can't remember the name (the tag is long gone), but it's
not a "trumpet".

It grows 30 ft in all directions.....very easy to propagate.....it layers on its own.

Here it is growing over a large aloe.

Here's a pic of it growing over a large boulder.....I'm not going to cut it back
till Nov......just a little now if it is robbing other plants of sun.

Are you sure it's not a vine?
I sure like it for Podranea

I think its Podranea ricasoliana. Although called Pink Trumpet Vine, it's not a vine but a clamberer (no tendrils).

Podranea rings a bell.....I thought it was Pod-something.

Thanks stone & Daisyl. Thumbs up Thumbs up

It's growing by leaps & bounds....hate to cut it back, but
will have to at some point (when it starts coming into the house). Big Grin
