I am trying to decide between ordering Super Fancy Face and Cosmic Kaleidoscope for my garden and having trouble choosing.

They both have lots of nice kiddie plants so either of them would be fun to have but I can't decide from the pictures which is the prettiest plant to have in my garden which is important to me as any crossing will be just for fun.

I like soft colours and tend to like pinks, purples, creams and "daylily blue"!

On some pics C.Kaleidoscope looks pink and cream and really pretty but on others it looks orange/tan which I am not keen on.

S.F.Face looks to be yellow with burgundy, is that right?

which is the most 'girly'-in your opinion?

Pics. most welcome.:thankyou:

I've not grown 'Super Fancy Face', so can not address anything about it. I do grow 'Cosmic Kaleidoscope' and I think it's a wonderful plant. I don't know about "girly-girl" as a description because I usually don't consider them in that manner, but is is a superb grower with large, striking blooms, easily fertile both ways, and makes a lot of proliferations. It's a reliable daylily with great eye-appeal.

Thank you, Judy. Thank You!

How would you describe the colour? Is it peach or more salmon-coloured would you say?

Sorry to have so many questions but I can only get daylilies from abroad so I can't see them in person.

I have a little cheapie camera that doesn't capture colors that well. It's more of a rosy lavender for me.

Oh, that's interesting isn't it?

I thought that it was just a wrong description on the database (it says something like lavender with green eye but the photos mainly make it look salmony-peach-tan).

Rosy lavender makes it much more attractive to me than peach-tan! Thank You!

I grow both of these cultivars. Cosmic Kaleidoscope is the one I'd choose if I could only have one. It always has many more blooms, a better scape, and a beautiful large bloom that is very striking. It sets pods easily and is known (as mentioned above) to produce proliferations which will help build your clump faster.

I do like Super Fancy Face as well, but CK has that extra something. Maybe you should get both?? Rolling on the floor laughing

@scflowers -- I would if I had the room! Got 6 more coming in Autumn and one reserved for me for spring! And I still need a small white! Sighing!

Thank you for your advice/opinion--looks like C.K. is the favourite!
