I would like suggestions for Salvia that are long blooming, but tolerant of our hot, dry summers, cold winters and VERY WINDY conditions.

We live on top of a hill where we have high winds all year. We're also hot and dry for extended periods. My favorite so far is Greggii (Autumn Sage). It blooms from Spring until Winter, freezes frequently and comes right back up in Spring. It's a blaze of color right now. I just wish it grew much higher.
