Thanks, Nikki. Sounds good Hurray! I still have quite a few pods to harvest. The weather is warm, and they are ripening more quickly now. I should have few more to offer you when all is harvested.

So disappointed--got an email about my plants from Belgium and Buddy's Angel Baby is too small to send.

He told me he is keeping it for Spring and has sent 'Lambertsons Dreaming Drawing' instead as compensation which was nice of him but I really don't think it will be any good here.

Feeling a bit ungrateful as It is a nice plant and pretty new but it is a larger flower and extra early which I avoid due to the gall midge problem here Sad Think it will just be a magnet for the beggars.

Hi Valerie,

Yes they have unfortunately, otherwise I could have emailed back and stopped him putting it in but he sent the email this evening saying that they had shipped this morning and told me about it once they had already been sent.

I'll stick it in a pot and see what happens but I don't think it will be staying--the Lambertsons' described as pinky-lavender all seem to be a rather strange 'flesh' colour in British gardens.

It is a shame as the eye pattern looks nice but that might not show over here anyway.

On a better note--the last Star Child x Aquamarine pod split slightly today so I bought it in, 19 seeds Hurray!

This is the one he's sending

That is too bad. I had a similar experience this spring, but the seller checked with me first about a substitution. I think that is what a seller should do.

It does look like a nice daylily, maybe it will surprise you. I know how disappointing it is to not get what you want, though Sad

Great news about the seeds, though Hurray!

Thanks Valerie,

It wouldn't usually bother me so much but it has just been such a rubbish time lately that everything is getting to me.

I just hope that he definitely has B.Angel Baby for me next year as I can't get it anywhere else.

I know, when life is rough, one isn't as resilient. Group hug Can you ask the seller to hold it for you and let you know when it is available?

Hi again, Valerie!

I emailed him and asked him to confirm he's holding it but it is the first time I have bought from him and so far he hasn't been great at replying to emails. If I could get it elsewhere I would but none of the other European sellers have it so I just have to hope that I can get it in spring.

Yes, I like the name too. She is selling a seed cross from it on LA but the pollen parent is "pink stripes" which just doesn't do anything for me at all.

I have a bid on "Witch's Thimble" x "Chocolate Chip" though.

She has some lovely seedlings on her website esp. ones crossed between Lav. Blue Baby and Stargate Portal and also Stargate Portal and Barn Owl.

I was wondering what to cross Barn Owl with next year assuming he flowers so might cross it with that seedling I have that is either a Stargate Portal or Smoke Scream sdlg.

I definitely need to get Lavender Blue Baby though even though it is a larger flower.

I like Barn Owl. Your proposed cross sounds great. I hope both bloom for you next year.

I just got Lavender Blue Baby this year. It was a substitution, but a very welcome one. I have seeds from Siloam Tee Tiny x Lavender Blue Baby that I could share with you if you are interested.

Good luck with your bidding!

Ooh--would love your Siloam Tee Tiny x Lav. Blue Baby if you have spares! Lovey dubby Thank you!

Lav. Blue Baby x Stargate Portal seems to make nice plants judging by images of seedlings. Wondering whether to get both next year.

I think they are both really good plants. I have looked at Stargate Portal, too, but never bought it.

I am still waiting for pods to ripen, but Siloam Tee Tiny is finished. In three pods on that plant, I got 19 seeds, 24 seeds and 24 seeds. It is very fertile it seems!

That is a good harvest isn't it? I don't think either Siloam Tee Tiny or Siloam Tiny Tim are available here which is a shame as I like both.
