Sharlene, beautiful banner!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Sharlene, Beautiful banner. Lilacs won't grow in our zones and I miss their fragrance, however, in May we took a trip to visit our son in Illinois and his lilacs were in bloom. I enjoyed their fragrance for several days. Lovey dubby
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

What a fine macro shot. Never would have guessed it was a lilac. I'll be scrutinizing them more closely next year. They actually have a Lilac Festival in Lombard Illinois every year with a very interesting Lilac history and connection to Nancy France.

Thanks folks - glad you liked it.

Jean, Lilacs do have a lovely fragrance! It's a pity they don't bloom longer!

Interesting Fleur - I just read up the history on the website. http://www.lombardlilactime.co... Thumbs up
