I LOVE this daylily! Although it was planted last fall, it sent up two scapes this year. The flowers were so gorgeous - almost unreal! The flowers always opened perfectly: ruffles never got stuck, the patterns well defined and the colors clear, never splotchy. Every bloom was a photo opportunity. It was very striking. The blooms lasted very well through the day. I kept coming back to see them whenever I could. Wish the scapes were just a bit taller to show off their beautiful flowers better.

This is one of those DL's I like way better in person. I received it last fall as a gift plant from Maryott's and was kind of meh about it until I saw it bloom this spring. The fans themselves are kind of underwhelming this year, as they are small and short. I got one scape (about 10" tall) out of five fans and saw 4 blooms. I did set one pod on it, a self cross.
