Crepe Myrtle Seedling

One of my crepe myrtle seedlings. Open pollinated from 'Ebony Flame' probably crossed with 'Fantasy'.

Great banner Dave!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Are you growing from seed or cuttings? I saw some beautiful ones at a rest stop once. I did find seeds there, and tried them, but they didn't grow for me.

These are grown from seeds. They are very easy to sprout but they do need to be stratified for 2 months before they germinate. The Crepe Myrtles Database

Ah, thank you. That's why they didn't germinate for me. I'll try again.
