My Rose of Shannon drops its blooms everyday. I have to rake the up everyday, Is there anything I can do so that the tree will hold onto the blooms?

Welcome! Rose of Sharon blooms are for one day. What yours is doing is perfectly normal. There is nothing you need to do to make it hold on to its blooms. It profusely flowers so there are new blooms everyday. I do have some double Rose of Sharons that hold into their blooms for an extra day, but not always.

May you be blessed with a wonderful day!
I prefer to walk in the light, I prefer a world where people want to be kind and bless each other, I prefer a God who loves and shares so much that he gave up his only Son for me. I prefer to choose the God of Abraham. Let there be peace and let it begin with me.

Some would also appreciate that as "self-cleaning".
