My pleasure. Fun facts for identification purposes: the way you know the first plant is Euphorbia is because of the very small odd looking flowers (which are not actually flowers but equivalent structures called cyathia). You can also nick the skin somewhere and white sap will come out, that's also a Euphorbia thing, but be very careful not to touch the fresh sap (it can be an irritant). And your Euphorbia could be a couple of different species which look similar (polygona and horrida) but the thing that pins it down is the color of the cyathia (green not red).

Just noticed that Euphorbia horrida is a synonym in for Euphorbia polygona in our database rather than a separate species. Should I suggest it be changed?

I see, they have apparently been merged. That's what the Catalogue of Life says anyway. No need for a change. Those 2 plants are obviously related so somebody must have decided they were too close. Well now you know the current name of your plant as well as what to call it when the name changes again. Smiling
