Has anyone ever seen this before...it is growing wild and I have seen a few around this summer so probably naturally occurring in the area, the little flowers look like cooked oatmeal! (Eastern Canada, Blooming Mid-July, Location; Along a forest path)

Can you post a photo of the rest of the plant?

Edited to add: It probably is Plantago but we should make sure.

Looks a lot like the bloom of Plantago to me also. My first thought was English Plantain (Plantago lanceolata)
