I have had one Amsonia hubrectii (A.h.) plant for several years. Finally, this past spring, it bloomed for the first time and began to grow. Now it has gotten too big for its present location, and I would like to move it.

Can A.h. be moved without problems or does it have a taproot like Baptisia that makes moving it a bad idea? If it can be moved, would August or September be OK?
