I have a small garden with Kandy Corn. The corn is been growing 60 day's now and has the tassels but I don't see any ears yet.
Is that normal ? I have been using Miracle Grow every 7 day's and the corn looks good. Just wondering if the ear's come before the tassels or after they develop ?

Well, first, miracle grow is mostly going to grow plant, not fruits. It is very nitrogen heavy. But corn does like nitrogen (Its a grass).

The tassels emerge before the ears. The tassels are the pollen and fall onto the silks which create the kernels. Each silk actually leads to a kernel. That's why they exist.

The pollinated silks will lead to kernels on the cob. The more pollination, the more kernels. That's why you plant they in blocks.
