Plant ID forum: help identifying flower

Cant seem to identify this flower. Kind of looks like a coreopsis but the petals on all the examples i see dont quite match up...thejy dont have the same shape and are not as close together. my girlfriend loves this and we see it on our walks and i want to surprise her with some. it grows in richmond, VA if that helps! thanks a ton in advance!

Looks like Coreopsis to me.

hrmm okay all the ones ive seen online have less rounded petals and they arent as close together but perhaps there is a specific kind i need to find to match to this one. thanks!

There are lots of Tickseeds, and several plain yellow singles. Have a look in the plant database.
