Plant ID forum: Help ID this plant

This is growing at our raised bed in northern Virginia, could be something we planted and forgot, or a sort of weed? not sure. Trunk is very woody almost like a pepper plant, grows high (~5ft tall) bottom leafs are wider than top leafs. There is a bulge at one of the top branches, the whole plant had only a few of these, some bulges were growing above another.
