My friend bought me a stack of those two-pronged metal plant label stakes and I love them. they are really great; pretty near indestructible. Until your spouse decides that the new daylily you planted was "a tall grassy weed" and mows it and the HIGHLY VISIBLE plant label down.

Good thing daylilies are tough!
