What constitutes a Landscape photo?
Few seem to understand why that feature is there or how its supposed to work.
Is there a way to make it allow only pics that use it as it was made to use?

Perhaps it would be helpful to include a brief note at the top of the 'add a landscape' page to clarify what is appropriate, and to also encourage folks to tag their photos so they get more exposure. I think it is rather sad when a lovely landscape photo has no tags so is likely only seen the day it is posted. Athough in fairness I continue to have problems with the tagging feature - for some reason after I diligently tag appropriately, all the labels are sucked over to the left margin. But at least they are there, so the photo will appear in the database under each labeled plant, and it's usually pretty clear which ones are which.

If they are uploading from an IPhone or IPad, they can't tag them.

I move single plant shots all the time and contact them to explain and help them find their way to the correct database entry. Some come on here, upload photos and never come back. Shrug!

I only use a PC, but for some reason my tags don't work well.

It is frustrating and discouraging to load landscape photos and find them replaced quickly with photos of a single plant..... Shrug!

I loaded some landscape pictures earlier today and a couple of hours later they were replaced with the current pictures on the screen which are nice pictures but of a single plant. I think most of us load pictures to share with others and there is a little satisfaction in doing so if they are replaced quickly with single plant pictures.. If there isn't a purpose for landscape photos it becomes a waste of time.......

Maybe landscape photos should only be accepted if there are at least two plants tagged in it?

I see what Paul is talking about. All of the photos for Landscape Photos showing right now are from one person. Each one is for a single plant, and with no identification of that plant.
That is a little disappointing.

Lauri, that is a great idea. No plants tagged? No entry can be completed. Hurray!

I am not blameless........often I don't take time to label but that is when it is not in my own garden. I could give it a generic name and not a specific cultivar name but generic names are not always there.....

Sorry Paul, new member obviously not understanding, I'll move them later when I'm on my laptop, too hard in phone.
I always click to see all images so even if they roll to next page I won't miss them.

No you don't Paul. It is frustrating to see single plant photos posted to that feature.

Instructions will be ignored by most people, but I'll add a message to the page anyway.

Dave can you make it so it won't complete if there are no tags? Maybe a pop up saying tags have to be added?
